Time To Get Serious

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
My Christmas was great, I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like. Today is boxing day (for us Canadians), and I went over to my parents because we had a family get together. Honestly, I don’t get too excited over them, they have seem to be more of a chore then anything else. However, today was different, I actually left it feeling all warm and fuzzy inside :)

On my way home I decided that I have to start getting more serious about my online business. If I am to reach my goals, I have to take it upon myself to work at it. At this point I am doing alright, a lot better then I was six months ago that’s for sure. But I think I have been slacking off again, with the glimpse of success that I am seeing I need to keep working to keep it and to grow it.

I do not know if anyone has noticed, but my header graphic here on this blog has 5 different images in it. First being fireworks, then a car, a clock, a building, and money. They all mean something to me, they all stand for a goal that I want to achieve;

The Fireworks stand for fun. I want to have fun doing whatever I am doing. If I am in a job or doing something that isn’t fun, I want to stop doing it. I understand in some cases that this isn’t always possible, but I don’t want to get stuck in a rut.

A car … Read below.

A Clock stands for time … :) If you haven’t noticed, my blog uses the domain twentyten.com. This is a goal of mine to become truly successful and wealthy by the year 2010. That’s only now 4 years away, but by 2010 I want to be doing what I want, when I want. This isn’t meant to be selfish, I’m just giving a time.

A Building and Money. These stand for success and wealth. I want to be my own boss, love what I do, don’t worry about money, and share what I have. I honestly do love sharing, and one day I hope I can help those around me with what they may be in need of.

The Car … this is one of those goals that you just can’t stop thinking of. This goal isn’t to just be able to buy any car, it’s to buy a new Chrysler 300C (preferably a 300C SRT8). The car in the header is the car that I want, and have wanted for over a year now :) As soon as it came out, I knew I wanted it, and I knew I was going to get it one day. It is an amazing car, and not that expensive for what you get, however still more money then I have ever seen.

So there you have it. I will be working harder in 2006 to build up my business so that I can reach my goals. Leave a comment if you would like, do you have suggestions? Comments?

    Hi Joel,
    I’m sure you will acheive your goals sooner than you’ve planned. You have clear goals in vision for your success in 2006. All you need to do is taking a step toward your goal everyday. Do everything that leads to your goal, and lessen the things that takes you away from your goals.

    Good luck and I pray for your success.

    Hey Joel!

    Great goals - and it nice to see someone with a vision. Most people go aimlessly through life - never knowing what they want (and they’re going to get exactly what they’re looking for too).

    You have a goal, a plan, and (most importantly!!!) - YOU TAKE ACTION!~

    Congratulations on your success and I wish you continued success in the future! :)

    -Mandy
