I have always been interested in the launching of new products, seeing how people respond, and just the whole marketing of it. I think that has to be one of my favorite aspects to Internet marketing… the whole marketing side of it. I create products, make new web sites, make web graphics, and do just about everything, but it’s the marketing that I really enjoy.
How do you launch your products?
I have not “yet” purchased Product Launch Formula, but it is definitely near the top of my “to buy” list. Over the past year or so, I have been trying to launch my new products by doing more then just putting up a sales page and having it available to buy. I have been trying to do some of what I think is mentioned in PLF. Of course though, I know I am missing a lot, but what I am doing is more then I use to.
Here is a short list of what I try to do;
Build anticipation by mentioning to my list that I am creating something new.
Offer a contest. Give away a free copy of the product for whoever wins the contest
Using social proof. I ask for some testimonials from friends, and offer a free copy to some of my list in exchange.
Offer some kind of fast action bonus. Usually in the way of a discount.
Then offer an upsell or one time offer.
Tell them about my affiliate program so that they can sell the product for commission.
It depends on the product, as to how much pre-launch and bonuses to offer. If the product is a service that you have to perform, then you can offer a limited number of copies as well.
Next time you launch a new product or service, create for yourself a new product launch formula.

Wait.. before you close this page thinking that I am going to list the usual free traffic methods, I won’t be doing that.
We all know about;
Writing and submitting articles,
Link exchanges,
Forum marketing,
Blog post comments.
But I think we often forget, or don’t even realize the many other ways that we can use bring in free traffic to our sites (sometimes A LOT more traffic then the above free methods).
I found a great report from Nicole Dean, explaining 7 different ways to get more traffic to our web sites.
It’s a free report that you can download directly from here;
7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic
Don’t worry, there is no subscription form. That link does directly to the pdf report.
Enjoy!

If you have not yet taken a look at Jimmy D Brown’s Membernaire, you really need to.
And if you haven’t heard of Jimmy D Brown before, you really need to.
He is one of the great Internet marketers who truly delivers amazingly great content no matter what he is talking about. He knows what he is doing online, and is someone that I believe we all can learn a lot from.
Often times when he wants to promote his products he will create free reports to distribute. These free reports are almost always a lot better then what you will find for sale. It’s no wonder he sells out of his limited products the way he does.
Another great example of over delivering is his Membernaire product. The sales letter for Membernaire taught be a cool trick to use for my next membership site. He over delivers even BEFORE a visitor even purchases anything.
Even if you have no interest to purchase, at least read the sales letter for Membernaire. You can do so here.
