Learning While On The Go
Happy Easter!
This weekend has got me thinking more about getting some sort of mp3/hard drive thing. For awhile now I have wanted an mp3 player, mainly to listen to music. But also to listen to other mp3 files, like teleconferences or even books recorded on mp3.
But I realized this weekend how great it would be to have a portable hard drive unit like and Ipod that can display pdf files. Not just hold a pdf file, but can also display it so that you can read it.
I have so many pdf ebooks that I have not gotten around to reading yet, simply because when I am home, I do have too many other things to do. But like this weekend, I went to my parents house and sat around there for awhile not doing anything. It would have been great to have been able to read one of my many ebooks.
The only issue that I can think of about this, is that if a pdf was readable on an Ipod for example, you would either have to squint to read the text, or scroll down the page after every sentence.
Since Laptops are much more expensive, plus a lot bigger, I don’t really want to go that route. But is there any type of portable hard drive product that can display pdf files? So far, I have not come across one, but maybe you have one? Please comment if you do!
