Do You Stream?
The internet keeps changing… how are you dealing with the many new different ways of getting your message out?
I for one am finally starting to get more serious about the changing habits on the internet. You sometimes get stuck in your ways, the ways that you have always done something, and you don’t want let go or change. I don’t think it’s healthy to never change, change is good.
But working online, you have to change, or else your business will slowly come to a stop. One example that I can think of is when email mailing lists started to go double opt-in. I wasn’t really online before the change, so it didn’t effect me that much, but I think it was a big enough change that some people were not wanting to do. And I can’t blame then, since it would lower their opt-in rates and probably lower their income as well. But it was something that had to be done, the internet was changing and so business had to adapt.
But my main point to this post is to ask if you have started to stream audio and video from your web site’s yet?
Audio and Video is becoming a more and more popular way to get your message out and seen/heard. Recently I have started to explore this area, testing out making videos and audio, and it seems to be a lot easier to do then what I had thought.
I do not own a video camera, so I can not do video like that, but I can still do screen capture type videos. A great way to show people how to do certain things while you walk through the steps right in front of them.
Have you posted audio and/or video on your site? Post a comment telling me how you think it’s effected your site. Has it raised sales? Lowered? More subscribers?
