Are All Giveaways Worthless?

As an online marketer myself who is constantly being bombarded with ads and promotions to buy or join the latest web site, I understand that not everything is worth taking a second look at (or maybe most things aren’t). But I also understand that there are those products and web sites which are worth A LOT and give great value.

Giveaway sites are often called worthless and pointless sites to join, simply because many of them offer products which are nothing special. Why waste your time joining a site to find that most of the products listed to download are 2-5 years old and are the same ones that you saw in the last giveaway! Sure, some older products are still very valuable, but sadly many are not.

This brings me to my other point, which is that there are still many great giveaways which offer QUALITY products. It’s when the giveaway site owner truly cares about the giveaway that you can tell the difference. They will cut out any cheap products and only allow good quality products which they know that their giveaway visitors can use.

The Free PLR Giveaway is a quality giveaway run by my friends Doug Champigny and Xavier Nelson. They hand picked the giveaway contributors which is basically unheard of now-a-days. But they do it and it shows in the valuable gifts which are being offered… but only for a few more days.

    Hi Joel,

Hey, I have to agree with you that most giveaway sites are filled with products that are a bit dated and I typically don’t end up downloading anything from most of them.

What I have found recently is that being a contributor to some of these sites are a good way for beginners (myself) to start the process of building a mailing list and that is what I have done.

There have been a couple of giveaways in the past few months that completely bombed for me, but there have also been two in the recent couple of weeks that I have added over 50 new readers to my list and am very much looking forward to another in the next week.

As for Doug and Xavier’s giveaway, I actually downloaded the theme for my blog from there, so yes, there ARE some quality products available to be downloaded there.

    Hey, have a great weekend!!

    Joel,

I would have to agree 100%. The PLR Giveaway Round 5 has some great products and the best part is that they are unique to this giveaway only. But everyone needs to make sure they get there today, because today is the last day! After today you may never see some of these products again.

    Thanks,

Hi Joel and thank you for your kind words about our Giveaway. We are very honored by the great feedback we receive each round (we host FreePLR twice a year).

However, we wouldn’t be as great if it wasn’t for our awesome partners who help to make each event powerful by providing the gifts for all the visitors.

Our partners, such as yourself, really are interested in helping everyone succeed which is showcased each time we host FreePLR, in the awesome gifts they give away.

The other key to our success are all the visitors. Doug and I strive to help as many people as possible to succeed and our partner’s contributions help us reach a lot of people with helpful tools, information and resources they can use to do exactly that - succeed.

Thank you Ron and Brett as well, for helping us make FreePLR such a success and for your very kind words.

Doug and I are already looking forward to the next round and making it an even bigger success, helping even more people with all of your help.

    Here’s to your success,
    Xavier
